Air Fryer Corn (Corn Ribs)

Crispy pieces of the best air fryer corn ribs are coated in a spiced marinade. Each bite is juicy and fun.

Ingredients

  • 3 Corn fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil or dairy free butter
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke optional
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Water for boiling

Instructions

  • Remove husks and silks from fresh corn. Boil each cob in a large pot of water for up to 3 minutes to soften the husk. Run under cold water for 45 seconds to cool.

  • Lay corn flat on a cutting board and trim ends. Stand corn upright and split lengthwise with a sharp knife. Cut halves into quarter lengths or smaller ribs as desired.

  • Make marinade with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and liquid smoke. Brush ribs with seasoned oil or rub with your hands. Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket. Air fry at high setting for 10-12 minutes or until tender and crispy. Serve hot with lemon or lime wedges and your favorite sauce. See suggestions below.

Eggless Mayonnaise - tastes fabulous with these corn ribs, it enhances the flavor. You can also try them with bbq cashew ranch dressing.
