Sumac Tomato Salad

Sumac tomato salad is bright and tangy, tossed with sweet onions and fresh herbs in a zesty lemon and sumac dressing.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium Tomatoes sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 small Red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Mint leaves chopped

Dressing

  • 1 teaspoon Sumac
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ tablespoon Olive oil extra virgin
  • ¼ teaspoon Cracked black pepper or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Salt or to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, sumac, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    1 teaspoon Sumac, 1 tablespoon Lemon juice, ½ tablespoon Olive oil, ¼ teaspoon Cracked black pepper, ½ teaspoon Salt
  • In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, parsley, and mint.
    Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
    Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
