Dragon Fruit Smoothie

A refreshingly light and all-natural dragon fruit smoothie made with fresh and frozen fruit, coconut water, and sweetened with a date. Ready in five minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen dragon fruit chopped (pitaya)
  • 1 small Banana ripe and chopped
  • ½ cup Coconut water
  • 1 small Medjool date

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 2 minutes or until smooth.
    1 cup Frozen dragon fruit, 1 small Banana, ½ cup Coconut water, 1 small Medjool date
  • Pour into a cup and enjoy immediately or take away with you.

Notes

Fresh and frozen fruit are used to help keep this smoothie thick. 
If you're using fresh pitaya and banana, add a handful of ice to help thicken and make this smoothie colder.
Any blender will work, however, a high powered blender is the quickest and will yield a smoother result. If your blender doesn’t have a smoothie setting, just blend until all the contents are blended.
Feel free to adjust the quantities of the ingredients to suit your liking.
