If you're a plant based smoothie enthusiast like me, always keep frozen bananas on hand for smoothies, I love them as a base, one of my favorites is with avocado. Oh it's so silky!
I had an excess of fresh green apples, so I decided to combine them to create this amazing combination, which also included dairy-free milk, a couple of spices, hemp seeds, and a single Medjool date for extra natural sweetness. I

For a creamy and thick smoothie, use a combination of fresh and frozen fruit. If you use all fresh ingredients, start by adding half of the milk amount and adjust to your preferred thickness.
Any blender will work, but a high-powered blender will yield a smoother result. If your blender doesn’t have a smoothie setting, just blend until everything is mixed.
Adjust the ingredient quantities to your liking, I always do this any time I make a smoothie, it's really hard to mess it up.

Green Apple Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 small Banana frozen pieces
- 1 small Green apple chopped into pieces
- ⅛ teaspoon Cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon Nutmeg
- ½ cup Amond milk or any dairy free milk
- 2 tablespoons Hemp seeds
- 1 Medjool date pitted
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 2 minutes or until smooth.1 small Banana, 1 small Green apple, ⅛ teaspoon Cinnamon, ⅛ teaspoon Nutmeg, ½ cup Amond milk, 2 tablespoons Hemp seeds, 1 Medjool date
- Pour into a cup and enjoy immediately.
