Vegan Lebanese Recipes
Authentic vegan Lebanese recipes that are either incidentally plant based (vegan) like flavourful Mjadara (Mujadara Recipe (Hamra version)) or converted to accommodate for a plant based diet like my hearty Stuffed Eggplant Batinjan Mahshi. Vegan recipes of Lebanese food are so flavoursome: using loads of herbs and spices. Historically a Levantine style of cooking, you'll find recipes for Quinoa Tabouli, Stuffed Zucchini (Kousa Mahshi), Turmeric Semolina Cake(Sfouf Recipe), the famous Traditional Lebanese garlic sauce - toum recipe and so much more. A typical Lebanese diet naturally consists of loads of the good tiers within the healthy pyramid triangle; vegetables, grains, fruits, carbohydrates, fats and more.
