Let me tell you about my go-to 3 Ingredient Satay Sauce, it’s a lifesaver when I need something quick, delicious, and versatile. All you need is natural peanut butter, sweet chili sauce, and coconut aminos (or soy sauce), and you’re just 2 minutes away from a creamy, sweet, and savory sauce that works for almost anything.

I love this sauce as it’s so easy to make (no cooking required!) and incredibly tasty. Use it as a dipping sauce for spring rolls or satay skewers, make warm satay chickpeas, drizzle it over a grain bowl, Buddha bowl or noodle salad (some of my favorite week day lunches), or even use it as a marinade.
It’s also super customizable, add a splash of your favorite flavorings, like lime or coconut milk. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll be making it on repeat!
Ingredients and Steps
The complete list of ingredients with measurements, can be found in the full recipe card below.
In a bowl, combine natural peanut butter (either smooth or crunchy - I alternate between these), sweet chili sauce, coconut aminos (or soy sauce) and water (I don't count water as one of the three ingredients). Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust, you may wish to add a pinch of salt.
Storage
Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. It might thicken when chilled, so just give it a good stir before using.
